
A trade mission to explore Myanmar as a garment sourcing destination is being hosted by European brands and retailers as a part of EU-funded SMART Myanmar project. The mission is also touted to be an opportunity for Myanmar’s manufacturers to learn more about the requirements of doing business with the European brands. Primarily aimed at small and medium sized manufacturers, its goal is to provide insight into the industrial capacity and growth prospects of Myanmar’s garment sector, through factory visits in Yangon as well as a one-day information event with B2B networking forum. Participants will be provided with an overview about the Myanmar garment industry and will receive detailed company profiles of potential business partners.
