
The C&F agents in Bangladesh have postponed their two-day strike for 15 days.
Media reports maintained this adding the Federation of Bangladesh Customs Clearing and Forwarding Agents Association on 25 June, called for full-day strike on 28 and 29 June, including at the Chittagong Custom House, to realise various demands, which included the amendment of Licensing Rules-2020 by the NBR.
However, upon assurance from NBR to look into their demands, the C&F agents have temporarily postponed the strike, reportedly, claimed Shamsur Rahman, President of the organisation, while adding if its demands are not met, the association will then announce the next course of action.
As per reports, there are around 10,000 C&F agents at 42 small and large customs stations across Bangladesh.
