BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) orchestrated a seminar titled Smart Education in the Emerging Digital Era for RMG Leaders, accompanied by an exhibition showcasing “Garments Cutting Floor Layout and Seam Identification.”
This exhibition aimed to present both manual and virtual cutting floor layouts, highlighting advanced apparel manufacturing processes.
The event, effectively supervised by A T M Mohibullah, Assistant Professor & Assistant Proctor (Member Secretary), took place recently.
The multipurpose hall at BUFT hosted seminars on digital education following the exhibition.
Professor Ayub Nabi Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor of BUFT, served as the opening speaker.
The department and university have gained a global reputation for entrepreneurship and skilled manpower creation.
The distinguished guest of honour, Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Former Member of Parliament, was present at the event.
Ferdous Zaman Tuhin, Secretary of the University Grants Commission (UGC), delivered the keynote speech, and Omar Faruque, Director of UGC, attended as an honorable guest. Mahfuzur Rahman, Vice Chancellor of BUFT, chaired the program.
