
Dr. Mohammad Jabed Patwari BPM (Bar), who is the Ambassador of Bangladesh in Saudi Arabia, recently held a meeting with Chairman of the Eastern Chamber of Commerce of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdul Hakim Al Khaldi and Secretary-General Abdul Rahman Al Wabel, during which the Bangladesh envoy proposed importing apparels along with leather items and handicrafts from Bangladesh.
Reports maintained this while adding that during the meeting, the Bangladesh envoy maintained that Saudi Arabia can import any type of quality apparels from Bangladesh as the country has been producing and exporting all types of quality garments world over and is also the second largest exporter of apparels globally while also adding leather products and handicraft items produced in his country are also very innovative and of high quality.
The Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia also, reportedly, called for investment in Bangladesh, underlining Bangladesh is a very exciting investment destination while highlighting the various benefits an investor gets to invest in and conduct business in his country.
