Sustainable footwear brand Purified has introduced its third shoe style, the “Walden,” marking its first zero-plastic sneaker designed to “enrich the soil after its final wear.”
The retailer highlighted that this launch brings a “refreshed, contemporary design that represents a new style direction for the London brand.”
The Walden sneaker features a lightweight ‘strobel’ construction, non-toxic hand-sewn binding, and a wave-inspired comfort system, which Purified claims is “designed for the modern day, something that has not previously existed.”
Crafted from NFW’s plastic-free Mirum and Pliant biomaterials, the sneaker is hand-sewn in Portugal using cotton threads.
The Walden is available for purchase exclusively on the Purified website and at Fabrica X in The Mills Fabrica building in London
