In its bid to further promote the concept of its eco-friendly products, TCE Denim is investing hugely on green facilities, which will further enhance its drive for eco-friendly production.
In an exclusive interaction with Team Apparel Resources, Owen, Sales Manager, TCE Denim, averred that in addition to investing on green factories, TCE is also focussed on recycling water to encourage sustainable production. “Our Smart Dyeing Tech Denim in collaboration with Archroma helps in saving water by almost 92 per cent in addition to saving energy by 30 per cent,’’ further substantiated Owen.
Sustainable production was also the company’s focus at the recently concluded denim event in Ho Chi Minh City. TCE Denim has adopted a solar energy generation facility in its mills to reduce the total amount of energy used in production by 50 KW per hour.
In addition to saving water and energy, the company also has plans to invest in an anti-odour control system to remove the smell emitted during dyeing and washing, and to purify it with clean air.
Since 1956, TCE Denim has grown from being a denim fabric business to a one-stop production line with advanced technology that covers everything from fabric to denim sewing and washing. TCE also has its own denim mill in Vietnam which was started back in 2014.
