
On Monday, 25th December, a fabric factory in Khyat Bhaluka Upazila, located in the industrial zone of Mymensingh, experienced a fire incident.
Media reports maintained this adding the occurrence took place in the Hazirbazar Gadomia area of the upazila at approximately 6 am.
Atiqur Rahman, the Senior Station Officer of Bhaluka Fire Service, confirmed the incident, noting that the fire was successfully brought under control after an hour of concerted effort.
The factory owner reported an estimated loss of around Taka 5 crore.
Fortunately, there were no reported casualties, as stated by Shah Kamal Akand, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhaluka Model Police Station.
Despite the absence of injuries, the factory owner filed a general diary regarding the incident, according to the OC.
