Evitex Dress Shirt Ltd., a major woven garment manufacturing company based in Bangladesh and affiliated with Evince Group, has successfully attained recertification for the Platinum level in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for its existing building design, as conferred by the US Green Building Council (USGBC).
This is as per reports, which added the LEED achievement of Evitex Dress Shirt Ltd spans crucial categories, including Location & Transportation, Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality Innovation, and Regional Priority Credits, according to a press release.
Md. Shah Adeeb Chowdhury, Director of Evince Group reportedly expressed gratitude to the USGBC-GBCI and his team for this noteworthy accomplishment. Highlighting the importance of integrating green practices into sustainability initiatives, he emphasised the role of environmental responsibility in securing the livelihood of future generations.
Chowdhury disclosed ongoing sustainable practices as part of their social responsibility and revealed plans to pursue LEED certification for all sister concern factories.
