Versace, the renowned luxury fashion brand, has renewed its partnership with GXO Logistics, Inc., a pure-play contract logistics provider, to handle omnichannel logistics for all of Versace’s product lines, including B2B and B2C returns, quality control and value-added services like labelling and garment repairs.
With two warehouses in Bellinzago Novarese and Novara, each with mezzanines totalling 12,000 square meters, GXO handles about 2.4 million pieces annually and oversees all of Versace’s product lines, including hanging and flat garments, accessories, jewellery, perfumes, home goods and raw materials. It also handles its omnichannel logistics, including direct-to-consumer.
Alessandro Renzo, GXO’s Managing Director for Italy and Switzerland says that the company is honoured to continue its partnership with Versace and its trust in the company’s teams in Italy to manage logistics.
Fulvio Mizzau, Versace Logistics Director says that the key to help Versace fulfil customer promises is a partner like GXO with extensive experience in logistics for luxury fashion and the skillset, professionalism and attention to detail that is needed.
In each warehouse, GXO has installed a variety of technology, such as RFID, conveyors and hanging garment sorters, to improve operational efficiency. GXO’s direct staffing model and LED lighting equipment demonstrate its dedication to ESG.
GXO has over 60 locations throughout Europe that are devoted to providing logistical solutions for the fashion sector.
