
Sri Lanka’s largest apparel exporter – Brandix has chosen Tukatech’s apparel solutions to boost the efficiency and productivity of product development and production. Tukatech’s offering TUKAcutplan and SMARTmark has been implemented at the Brandix Apparel India City located at Atchutapuram, Andhra Pradesh. The implementation of the software was done nine months ago, and since then the apparel exporter has witnessed some significant results.
“Tukatech’s SMARTmark has given us at least 1 per cent fabric savings over any known software. This is working well with our fast fashion segment,” averred Dave Ranasinghe, Director, Brandix, Sri Lanka.
SMARTmark by Tukatech is an automatic marker making for costing & production markers. An add-on module to TUKAcad, it maximizes the placement of markers and utilizes every possible piece of fabric, generating enormous savings. Whereas, TUKAcutplan offered high level of customization to the Brandix’s production floor. The software easily integrated with M3. Additionally, the reports generated can also be customized.

Content with the customer support, Dave added, “Technical input from Ram and his team is very high from the implementation of 3D software into our design and sampling tools and into our cutting room equipment. He brings his knowledge and expertise into our organization. That has helped reach where we are.”
The company is further planning to take Tukatech’s solutions across to all other parts of its business.
