Snitch, the D2C menswear brand featured on Shark Tank, has announced a substantial expansion of its warehouse facility, adding an additional space of 50,000 square feet. This would bring the total capacity to 100,000 square feet. This expansion is expected to enable Snitch to dispatch an additional 20,000 shipments within a specific timeframe. The new warehouse is strategically located in Yelhanka, Bengaluru, to maximise its proximity to factories, suppliers, airports, and highways, aiming to enhance Snitch’s operational efficiency throughout the supply chain.
Siddharth Dungarwal, Founder of Snitch, stated, “The expansion will bring significant improvements to our supply chain and logistics operations. The strategic positioning of multiple locations will greatly enhance our inventory accessibility and distribution, leading to a streamlined last-mile distribution process.”
The new warehouse facilities will integrate advanced technology, including Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Performance Improvement tools, IoT devices, and potentially automated systems. These technologies are expected to improve inventory tracking accuracy, enhance the efficiency of picking and packing processes, and provide valuable data analytics for informed decision-making.
In addition to the focus on increased capacity and strategic locations, Snitch is committed to sustainability initiatives within its warehouses. Efforts have been made to adopt eco-friendly practices such as energy-efficient lighting and improved waste management systems. The company has also prioritised continuous workforce training to ensure effective utilisation and adaptation to the newly implemented technologies
