Saroj Impex, Delhi, offering accessories and women’s wear, will adopt Sedex certificate soon as the company is already working to get the same. It has also come up with a new range of clutches. Amit Goel, Proprietor of the company informed, “We are mainly into Europe; and during discussions with lot of buyers we realized that having Sedex certification will help us to grow in business, so we have decided to go for it. In our factory, most of the things are in place from a compliance perspective. As far as our new range of evening clutches is concerned, we are already doing bags, but metalbased product is comparatively a new offering from our side and we are targeting European as well as Japanese buyers through these products. As the market is slow and we are trying to maintain the turnover as we did last year, new products and compliance should prove helpful.”
The company has manufacturing capacity of 50,000 scarves and 10,000 garments per month. It mainly offers products from US $ 2 to US $ 5.
