Eco-friendly clothing line Miakoda New York has recently launched its latest organic knit material made Fall collection titled Field Daze 2014. Based on relaxed silhouettes, the comfortably chic range takes inspiration from the agricultural farms of the East End of Long Island New York. The line includes stretchy wardrobe staples, such as slouchy pants and edgy one-shoulder sweatshirts, which aim to provide both physical and mental comfort to the wearers.
Julia Ahrens, the founder and designer of Miakoda told, “As a New Yorker, I was inspired by the feeling of freedom that comes through connecting with the nature of Eastern Long Island, specifically running through open fields of flowing wheat. The collection is meant to transition through the seasons.” With a commitment to provide clothing that is sustainable and cruelty-free, Miakoda pieces are made from eco-friendly fibres and its collections are produced in an ethical factory in NYC (PB).
