
Dyed yarns exporters of Bangladesh will get financial support from Export Development Fund (EDF), a special fund of the Central Bank to increase the export growth. All the members of the Bangladesh Dyed Yarn Exporters’ Association (BDYEA) will be entitled to get financial support from the EDF, states a note from the Central Bank. The credit amount should not go beyond US $ 15 million. This credit limit will be applicable as a ‘maximum single borrower limit’ for the BDYEA members. The loans are payable within 180 days from the date of payment. The time period for the payback can be extended to 270 days by the BB in case of a longer period for repatriation of export proceeds.
