
Centro Tex Limited has reinforced its leadership team with the appointment of two senior executives in human resources and sustainability, signalling a stronger strategic focus on governance, people development and responsible manufacturing.
The company has appointed Sayedul Hassan as Head of Human Resources. Hassan, an experienced HR professional with expertise in organisational development and people strategy, will be responsible for driving initiatives aimed at building a people-centric and high-performance culture. His mandate includes talent development, leadership capability building and aligning workforce strategy with the company’s long-term vision in Bangladesh.
Hassan brings more than 14 years of experience in strategic human resource management across sectors including manufacturing, hospitality and diversified conglomerates. He previously served as Head of Corporate HR at Dekko ISHO Group and earlier held the position of Assistant General Manager – HR at Centro Tex Limited. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Dhaka.
In a parallel move, Basirun Nabi Khan has joined Centro Tex as Head of Sustainability. Khan has extensive experience in ethical governance, regulatory compliance and responsible business practices within the ready-made garments (RMG) sector. In his new role, he will lead the company’s sustainability roadmap, with a focus on strengthening transparency, enhancing compliance frameworks and aligning operations with evolving global sustainability standards.
The management said strengthening leadership across sustainability and human capital was central to Centro Bangladesh’s growth strategy. It added that the appointments reflected the company’s intent to deepen governance practices, improve operational resilience and build a future-ready organisation.
With these appointments, Centro Bangladesh continues to invest in leadership capabilities that support sustainable value creation for its stakeholders and contribute to the long-term development of the apparel industry.
