Bemis Associates, design and development partner for several technical, performance, lifestyle, and luxury brands has partnered with drirelease, global solutions provider of a patented blend of fibres that deliver superior wicking and quick-drying capabilities.
The two have teamed up to create innovative Seam Reinforcement Tapes (SRTs) by integrating the unique technology of both brands – Bemis’ Flowfree adhesive, which promotes airflow through specifically engineered perforations that create breathability and allow moisture to pass to through the drirelease’s fabric, which is then able to wick that moisture away from the skin. This unique blend will allow consumers to get the same comfort and performance in the seams of the garment, as in the fabric.

The blend of drirelease’s patented combination of hydrophilic and hydrophobic fibres enhances moisture management of a garment, as it wicks moisture away from the skin 17 times more effectively than the standard SRT. The SRT manufactured with drirelease’s fabric, DriSeam was also recognized in the “Trims Selection” category by ISPO TEXTRENDS 2016.
