Leading denim and apparel manufacturer of India, Arvind Ltd., has reported surge in its sales in the first quarter of the current fiscal. The sales in the quarter under review zoomed 6 per cent at Rs. 1,877 crore.
Jayesh Shah, CFO of the company averred, “The performance for the quarter is in line with our expectations; high growth in brands and retail business with movement towards profitability and steady growth in textiles business with improvement in bottom-line.”
