India-based fashion retailer Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. (ABFRL) has announced to expand its brand; Van Heusen’s retail presence in Southern India, as the company inaugurated two exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) in Karnataka’s capital Bangalore.
The company has picked HSR Layout and Brigade Road as the two locations for its new stores in the region which are spread across 2342 sq. ft. and 1840 sq. ft. respectively. Both the stores will stock menswear and womenswear merchandises including corporate suits, casual-wear, jackets, workwear, accessories, and much more.
Notably, the new outlets will also offer variants from Van Heusen’s sub-brands; V Dot which is a label especially curated for casual wears and VH Sport that offers activewear apparel to the shoppers.
The home-grown fashion brand is eyeing to boost its presence in the country and reach a total of 7,000 multi-brand outlets (MBOs) in the ongoing financial year, out of which, 30 MBOs are expected to be launched by the end of the current year.
Abhay Bahugune, Chief Operating Officer, Van Heusen, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., elucidated on the store openings and was quoted as saying that, “The brand has over the last decade turned itself into a renowned fashion label with a strong presence across leading cities and towns in India. Bangalore is the third largest city in the nation, and that is what propelled us to launch new stores in this region.”
The fashion label now operates 53 outlets in the city and has said that it will continue to cater to the demand by offering high-end merchandises to its shoppers.
