
For the fourth quarter that concluded on 31st March, value fashion retailer V2 Retail Ltd. recorded a 79 per cent increase in net profit to Rs. 6 crore (US $ 702,000) as against Rs 3.60 crore (US $ 421,000) during the previous quarter.
Compared to the same quarter last fiscal year, when the company’s sales were Rs. 296 crore (US $ 34.6 million), it increased by 69 per cent to Rs. 499 crore (US $ 58.44 million). The company’s net profit for the entire fiscal year was Rs. 72 crore (US $ 8.43 million), based on Rs. 1,884 crore (US $ 220 million) in sales revenue.
In a statement, chairman and managing director Ram Chandra Agarwal commented on the findings, saying that FY 2025 had the largest revenue and profit after tax (PAT) ever, setting a new performance standard. The business has achieved industry-leading performance in spite of a difficult market characterised by a high base and dampened consumer sentiment.
With 189 outlets and a total retail space of 20.27 lakh square feet, the company shuttered two stores and opened 74 new ones during the fiscal year.
