
SP Collection, which is the holding company of the renowned UK brand Self-Portrait, has announced that it has bought the French label Roland Mouret out of administration.
The move to acquire the French fashion label is seen as a part of an effort to discover, nurture and develop best in class creativity and design.
Here it is important to state that Roland Mouret had collapsed into administration in November 2021 owing to pandemic ill-effects.

Notably, SP Collection, as a part of the acquisition deal, has bought the assets of Roland Mouret, in addition to acquiring the intellectual property rights.
Delighted over the association, Han Chong, Founder and Creative Director, Self-Portrait, reportedly, stated that Roland Mouret will benefit from the infrastructure and resources of SP Collection, which is essential to ensure the French brand’s success and growth in the coming years.
Han added “I am excited to see how we can develop the Roland Mouret brand for luxury customers around the world.”
Roland Mouret is mainly known for occasion apparels – pertaining to weddings and parties – but it also recently launched activewear.
