
Later this month, retailer TK Maxx will relocate its Watford location from Century Retail Park to Atria Watford Shopping Centre.
Under one roof, the new store will house apparel, accessories, beauty, and home goods. The 30,557 square foot, two-story space will be crammed with designer brands at discounts of up to 60 per cent off the original price.
Each week, numerous fresh deliveries are available for customers, providing a changing selection of bargain-priced treasures.
Up until Thursday, 27th July, when the new store opens at Century Retail Park, the current location will remain open. In conjunction with the relocation, the retailer offered all of its current employees the chance to shift to the new location and 50 additional positions for the region.
A spokesperson for TK Maxx, commented, “We are delighted to be opening this new store in Atria Watford Shopping Centre.”
TK Maxx plans to open five more stores across the UK by the end of 2023 as it continues to boost its profits.
The pretax profit margins for the first quarter of fiscal 2024 were increased 10.3 per cent, “well above the company’s plan,” according to a May report from its parent company TJX Companies. Net revenues increased by 3 per cent year over year to £9.5 billion ($11.8 billion) in the first quarter of fiscal 2024, led by a rise in client traffic.
