
Shopsy, the discount fashion and lifestyle platform from Flipkart, has opened a wedding-focused store to attract customers in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. As a result, client homepage visits for the company’s top category products have doubled.
The states of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and West Bengal have shown Shopsy the greatest demand for its wedding-themed storefront, with the top customers being found in cities like Salem, Medinipur, Bhagalpur, and Bankura, among others. In a news release, Shopsy stated that the company also observed that customers between the ages of 15 and 34 were drawn to items with a range of discounts.
“With the launch of the Wedding Store, Shopsy enabled cross-cultural buying, giving users access to an expanse of fabrics and designs,” announced the business in a press release.
