Fast fashion retailer, SHEIN is set to unveil its spring-summer 2024 collection through a special episode of its livestream show ‘SHEIN Live: Front Row’ on 25th February, continuing its livestream shopping initiatives.
Hosted by Renee Ariel, the show will feature actress Teala Dunn, podcast host Jenicka Lopez, and influencers Azra Mian and Aisha Mian. The collection will encompass six themes: summer vacay, effortlessly elegant, casual chic, modern classics, sweet as honey, and street style.
The three-hour showcase can be viewed on YouTube, X, Instagram, and Facebook, with a shoppable experience accessible through SHEIN’s mobile app. George Chiao, president of SHEIN US, emphasised the interactive nature of the event, connecting the SHEIN community with the latest collections.
Livestream shopping is gaining popularity in the retail landscape, with brands like Best Buy, Ulta, and Pacsun embracing the trend. Poshmark also entered the live shopping arena with Posh Shows, allowing users to showcase, list, and sell products during live streams.
SHEIN’s engagement extends offline with initiatives like the “Home for the Holidays” pop-up shop at Forever 21 in Times Square and previous shoppable livestream events. Reports suggest SHEIN confidentially filed for an IPO at the end of last year, signaling its intention to go public in the U.S., underscoring its commitment to engaging customers both online and offline.
