Primark, the global fashion retail giant, has announced its expansion plans in the USA this summer, opening three new stores in New York, New Jersey and Albany.
Specifically, Primark’s latest store expansions will take place at Green Acres Mall in Long Island, New York on 22nd June; The Mills at Jersey Gardens in Elizabeth, New Jersey on 6th July and at Crossgates Mall in Albany, NY on 20th July.
Covering over 33,000 square feet of retail space, the newest US locations will showcase Primark’s distinctive collection of fashion, accessories, and homeware.
In anticipation of the store openings, Primark has expressed its intention to hire for both full-time and part-time positions.
Kevin Tulip, President of Primark US, expressed his delight at the warm reception the brand has received from the communities they have joined in the US. He mentioned the overwhelmingly positive response, with eager customers forming lines to welcome them.
Last month, Primark opened at Walden Galleria in Buffalo, New York, and announced plans to further expand into the southern US, including in Texas.
Tulip further conveyed his team’s excitement about the upcoming roster of new store openings set for this summer.
With the addition of these three new locations, Primark’s global store count reaches 428, including 20 in the United States.
This expansion aligns with Primark’s ambitious growth strategy in the USA, aiming to reach 60 stores by 2026.
