
The Italian high-tech bags and accessories brand Piquadro is set to take the plunge in the US. Focused on the business and travel segment, Piquadro has found an American partner to assist from an operational point of view in its development in the market, the company said in a statement. It will open a flagship store in New York in March, 2015 at 509 Madison Avenue. Marco Palmieri, CEO of the company said that opening a store in New York is an important step for Piquardo in its efforts to build a global reputation for itself. The decision is supported by results from the first half ending on September 30, 2014, which saw turnover grow by nearly 8 per cent.
