Phase Eight, a womenswear brand owned by TFG, is extending its retail reach with the opening of a new Scottish flagship in Edinburgh.
As part of its commitment to the Scottish market, Phase Eight is returning to Edinburgh with the launch of its fourth standalone store at 85 George Street. The retailer’s fifth standalone is scheduled to debut in Glasgow’s Braehead Centre in May.
Phase Eight’s retail expansion strategy, which debuted in 2023 with 13 locations throughout the UK and Europe, includes the Edinburgh store as the most recent phase. It goes along with its other store openings this year at Kingston’s and Bristol’s Cribbs Causeway. In 2024, there are plans to open further stores in Hamburg, Bluewater, and Blanchardstown.
The brand’s newest event and ready-to-wear collections are housed in the 3,444 square foot, Phase Eight-designed new Scottish flagship. Additionally, small, limited-edition collections like bridal and its black-tie Collection 8 and its recently established childrenswear line are available.
Caraline Money, group retail director at Phase Eight, said in a statement, “Having previous traded in Edinburgh, we are thrilled to be back in this iconic city with our latest flagship store.”
The store, which is housed in a historic building, has big format digital screens, custom furniture, curving feature walls, oak and tile floors throughout, and an art nouveau staircase that leads to the exclusive VIP personal styling suite.
