MomSoon – a high-street maternity and nursing clothing wear start-up catering to the modern would-be and new mothers seeking stylish yet comfortable clothes – has some big plans for this fiscal!
As the brand plans to expand its retail footprints and online presence, it is hoping to clock more than two-fold growth in sales during this financial year, shared Neha Nahata, Founder, MomSoon.
The former Fashion Director at Koovs, a leading e-commerce fashion portal, Neha told PTI that her label has already started posting a rise in sales through its e-store, meeting monthly targets.
She, however, refrained from sharing the revenue numbers.
Neha also underlined that though they had to put their previous plans to open retail stores on hold owing to the sudden outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the brand is currently in talks with India’s leading fashion e-commerce brand Myntra to start selling its maternitywear soon on its platform.
Neha further added that her brand, founded over a little 2 years ago, is selling through retail platforms like Mothercare, Baby, Maa and Fortis La Femme.
As most brands are taking the anti-viral apparel manufacturing route keeping in mind the ongoing customer demand, MomSoon too plans to start selling garments created with virus-resistant material.
“We have sourced anti-viral fabric from Nahar Group. Their fabric has cleared all required tests for anti-viral fabric,” said Neha, adding, “Designs on the same fabric are undergoing production, and we expect to start its sale beginning next month.”
