Keith Credendino has been appointed chief information officer, starting 4th August, according to a statement from Macy’s, Inc.
Currently serving as senior vice president of technology product development and customer experience at Macy’s, Credendino will take over for Laura Miller, who announced her retirement in 2021.
Additionally, Credendino joins the corporate strategy group of the department store chain, where he will be accountable to Adrian Mitchell, the chief financial and operational officer.
Credendino began working at Macy’s in 2002 and joined Macy’s, Inc. in 2022. Throughout his time there, he has been recognised for enhancing the in-store and online shopping experience for customers at Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s. His team has also been essential in the establishment and continuous upkeep of the business’s online marketplace.
Together with evolving the macys.com wedding register and launching online baby registries for both nameplates, Credendino and his team also implemented the technological improvements and infrastructure necessary to enable the overhaul of macys.com and bloomingdales.com. As the company’s current checkout modernization leader, he is facilitating a more efficient process for both customers and coworkers.
Credendino was SVP of enterprise data and digital technologies at Inspire Brands before to joining Macy’s. The executive had previously worked as a technology executive for a number of large corporations, such as Cox Enterprises, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), and The Home Depot.
“The entire Macy’s, Inc. family wishes Laura well on her retirement and thanks her for the many accomplishments over her transformative tenure,” said Mitchell.
