Luxury fashion retailer Oliami, based in Auchterarder, Scotland, has acquired Pampas, a well-established Glasgow-based retailer specialising in women’s fashion. Pampas, a major player in Glasgow’s fashion sphere for over three decades, is now under new ownership, marking a significant transition for the West End store.
Following a temporary closure starting 20th January, Pampas is scheduled to reopen before the end of the month after a renovation as ‘Pampas by Oliami’.
The co-branded store will showcase collections from renowned brands such as Herno, Harris Wharf, Rotate, Remain by Birger Christensen, Begg & Co., and Hawico. Additionally, it will introduce BearCo, a collection crafted in Scotland by Alexander Manufacturing, part of Oliami Founder Nadia Alexander’s portfolio.
Nadia Alexander stated, “It’s an important time for Alexander Manufacturing as we bring the best of Scotland’s fashion to a broader audience, ensuring the entire value chain reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and community.”
Oliami aims to create a collection that is known to “redefine the style expectations of her clientele in the Scottish Highlands”.
