This month, Laura Ashley is returning to the fashion scene and unveiling a brand-new line in collaboration with Next.
The 47-piece collection includes a variety of shirts, dresses, skirts, pants, shorts and skirts in sizes ranging from six to 22. It will be sold at specific Next locations and online.
In an attempt to appeal to the growing number of customers who prefer retro fashion, the brand’s heritage patterns, high necks, and large prairie dresses in classic Laura Ashley styles will be included in the spring/summer collection.
Honouring its past, the collection features traditional floral heritage prints that are inspired by the company’s archives from the 1950s and 1960s.
IMG, who represents Laura Ashley for fashion licencing in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, helped to arrange the collaboration between Laura Ashley and Next. Following the brand’s 2020 acquisition by Gordon Brothers, IMG was named.
Carolyn D’Angelo, senior managing director, Gordon Brothers brands and president of Laura Ashley Global said, “Fashion has always been a key pillar for the Laura Ashley brand, so it’s a huge moment for the business that we’re introducing this new collection.”
