
The popular fast-food chain KFC, which is well-known for its fried chicken, has announced the introduction of a new line of fashion accessories.
The collection has the brand’s distinctive red and white stripes and is modelled after the recognisable KFC bucket. The line consists of apparel including T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts as well as a range of accessories like hats, socks, bumbags and slides with KFC designs.
The new line makes its debut in Australia after being introduced in the UK in 2022. The KFC Australian merchandise store is the only place to purchase the new line of clothing.
Through the KFC Youth Foundation and its charity partners The Black Dog Institute, ReachOut Australia, and Whitelion, the proceeds from merchandise sales will benefit the mental health of Australian youth.
This new line of fashion accessories is being introduced as KFC works to diversify its brand beyond its classic fast-food offerings.
To celebrate the launch of its new merch range KFC have unofficially kicked off the fashion season with a runway show featuring the full merch line.
In a statement, KFC Australia’s Chief Marketing Officer, Sally Spriggs, said, “We’re so excited to put KFC on the runway ahead of Sydney Fashion Week and even more thrilled to answer the call from our fans to bring this iconic range of merch to Australia with profits from sales going to support Aussie youth mental well-being through the KFC Youth Foundation.”
