Kelly Killoren Bensimon, popularly recognised as the former cast member of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’, has ventured into luxury fashion game in collaboration with Pologeorgis, the New York-based luxury furrier and Outerwear Company called En Ville. The capsule line-up comprises of about twelve different styles with offerings such as fur-lined luxurious raincoats, evening shrugs, pea coats, animal-printed fur coats, and embellished footwear.
The capsule collection includes jackets and coats whose retail price is approximately in the range of US $ 700 to US $ 2,500, accessories ranging from US $ 499 to US $ 1,000, and home products retails from about US $ 300 to US $ 2,000.
In addition, the apparel line-up offers a US $ 950 grey Rex rabbit oversized pullover with boat neck, a camo-printed fox patchwork-lined hooded Parka for US $ 2,000, a US $ 745 black Rex rabbit shrug, a navy double-faced cashmere blend with black dyed beaver peplum jacket for US $ 995 and finally, a sheared and grooved navy rabbit pea coat at the price of US $ 1,295.
Accessories in the collection include black shearling-lined slippers with brown fox trim at the top for US $ 425 and cork soled with leather sandal straps lined with mink fur for US $ 1,000. The home pieces offered in white, grey, cream, and blush include a Rex rabbit-fur throw for US $ 2,000 and a Rex Rabbit pillows for US $ 300.
A debutant designer, Bensimon’s capsule collection is inspired from her individual style. The collection will be unveiled at ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’ in East Hampton on August 4th. Beginning in September, the collection will also be released on Pologeorgis’ official web site and on Bensimon’s Instagram. An exclusive pre-order line-up will be available for buying.
Founded in 1960, Pologeorgis, based in New York, has ventured into collaborations with labels such as Derek Lam, Zandra Rhodes, Michael Kors, and Zac Posen, and most recently, Monse. Pologeorgis vends such stores as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman, as well as Moda Operandi.
