John Lewis non-executive director Nicky Dulieu has stepped down from her post seven months after joining the Partnership.
According to a spokesperson for the retailer, the former Hobbs CEO is quitting the position because it “wasn’t compatible with her existing time commitments.”
Dulieu was appointed to the partnership’s board in May, partly in response to criticism that the present members lacked retail experience. He also serves on the WHSmith board.
According to reports, John Lewis stated that a replacement will be chosen “in due course.”
Dulieu’s resignation coincides with Dame Sharon White, the chair, announcing that she will not run for office again when her five-year term ends in February 2025.
