Embarking on an extensive chain-wide RFID program, Inditex-a prominent Spanish retailer has chose Checkpoint Systems Inc., a global supplier of merchandise availability solutions for its distribution centres. Following the implementation, the process of sending the garments from the distribution centres to stores will now be automated, since Checkpoint solutions automatically check the content of the packages if they are according to the demands of the store or not. Spearheading the implementations, Pablo Isla, Chairman and CEO, Inditex considers these implementations significant in the transformation of stores operations.
