Harrods, the British fashion retailer, has joined hands with My Wardrobe HQ to unveil its first clothing rental service.
Notably, the rental edit is all set to sit on My Wardrobe HQ’s website. Besides, the service will also be available at Harrods’ Knightsbridge location.
To the delight of customers and Harrods’ loyalists, the range comprises 1,000 statement pieces by designers such as Rotate, Huishan Zhang, Roksanda and Zimmerman. These are available to customers for rent for 4 to 14 days or to buy.
Delighted to introduce My Wardrobe HQ as its rental partner, Lydia King, Fashion Director, Harrods, said My Wardrobe HQ has been leading the way in responsible luxury and fashion circularity since their conception, which is in perfect alignment with Harrods’ own sustainability commitments.
Lydia further added “By bringing together our second-to-none product curation and My Wardrobe HQ’s expert rental structure, we are now able to offer our clients a rotating wardrobe of beautiful pieces. I am so proud to present the edit that we have curated, a collection of dresses that can be effortlessly styled for any occasion.”
Prices for a four-day rental prices range from £23 to £400. Harrods is one of the largest and most famous department stores in Europe.
In May this year, another UK retailer Selfridges too had announced its foray into online rental service.
