Japanese outerwear brand Goldwin and biotechnology trailblazer SPIBER have joined forces to launch their inaugural full collection, which revolves around the concept of a ‘Regenerative Circle’.
The collection boasts a palette of earthy tones, including moss green, stark black, and creamy hues. It encompasses a diverse range of items, from ski-inspired coats to hoodies, sweaters, crewneck sweatshirts, warm-down shirts, long-sleeve shirts, slim-cut tech pants, and even a pair of denim pieces, a work shirt, and work pants.
Each of these garments is meticulously crafted from Brewed Protein material, produced through SPIBER’s pioneering technology platform, which harnesses the power of fermentation and custom molecular engineering, overlooking circular textile production methods with a minimal environmental footprint.
The complete Goldwin and SPIBER collection is slated to launch via Goldwin’s website on 29th September. Additionally, Goldwin has plans to increase its utilisation of Brewed Protein, with a goal to shift 10 per cent of its overall production to this sustainable material by 2030.
