PVH Corp. has named Fredrik Olsson as the CEO of PVH EMEA. Olsson, according to a press statement, will join the firm in the fourth quarter and report to Stefan Larsson, CEO of PVH Corp. He will relocate to Amsterdam with his family and work in PVH’s EMEA regional headquarters office.
Commenting on the new appointment, Larsson said, “Fredrik’s systematic and repeatable approach of driving growth will be important as we continue to unlock our full potential in the region and make progress towards our vision to build Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger into the most desirable lifestyle brands in the world and make PVH one of the highest performing brand groups in our sector.”
Olsson comes to PVH after previously serving as CEO of Max Fashion, one of the largest and most successful Middle Eastern fashion retailers in Dubai. Under his guidance, Max Fashion has improved the brand’s performance by increasing revenue and margins.
“I’ve always admired Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, and the strong European business they have built. I’m looking forward to working with the entire EMEA team and our key partners to unlock the region’s next growth chapter,” added Olsson.
Olsson spent more than 20 years with the H&M Group before to joining Max Fashion. For 15 of those years, he was a member of the leadership team that expanded H&M globally, more than tripling the company’s size to US $ 22 billion in 2023 and a retail footprint of more than 4,500 locations worldwide. During his time at H&M, Olsson held several key leadership positions, including managing director global for the H&M brand, head of global expansion, and head of global growth.
