Sustainable activewear brand Tala, founded by Grace Beverley, has launched a sportswear collaboration with Fila. The collaboration is aligned with the idea of ‘vintage meets innovation’.
Tala believes that the collection is timeless and made to be worn over and over again and is made from recycled material and also responsibly sourced.
It features its very first trainer in collaboration with FILA, an iteration trainer made from recycled fabrics. The limited-edition collection launches on 9th November. The website has joggers, tracksuits, jackets, leggings and sports bras ranging from 32 pounds for an oversized T-shirt to 90 pounds for trainers.
Commenting on the collection on its website, Tala explained, “We realise that the definition of the term ‘sustainability’ varies from person to person. But what we are trying to do is challenge the industry in which we exist. People will buy activewear, so we are offering a better alternative: ethically made and with sustainable content closely monitored and shared so that you can be the judge.”
The FILA X TALA collaboration is an opportunity for us to fulfill our mission in front of a larger audience, with the hope that increased exposure will challenge more people to reconsider their buying behaviour, and challenge more brands to adopt sustainable practices.
TALA is on a mission to bring a blend of sustainability, high performance, style and affordability to the activewear market. Earlier this year, TALA bagged € 5 million to bring sustainable activewear into mainstream.
