Fashion quick-commerce platform Booon has expanded its hyper-speed delivery service to Kolkata and Mumbai, extending its footprint to six Indian cities as part of its national growth strategy.
With the latest launch, the company will serve customers across all pin codes in Kolkata and Mumbai, marking its formal entry into eastern and western India. The service is already operational in Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and the Delhi-NCR region.
Booon stated that it offers a curated portfolio of more than 200 brands and over 100,000 styles, with deliveries commencing within 90 minutes. The company indicated that the Kolkata launch aligns with its strategy of strengthening its presence in emerging fashion markets while fostering local partnerships and generating employment opportunities. Its entry into Mumbai reflects an ambition to tap into one of the country’s most dynamic and trend-driven consumer bases.
The expansion is underpinned by a zero-inventory operating model, designed to respond to rising consumer demand for speed-led convenience in fashion retail.
Commenting on the development, founder Arun Kumar stated that Kolkata and Mumbai represented distinct yet equally vibrant fashion markets. He noted that the company’s entry into these cities would provide consumers with immediate access to curated fashion, catering to growing preferences for speed, relevance and convenience. He added that eastern and western India constituted key growth regions for the company and that Booon intended to continue enhancing innovation, value and customer experience as it scaled operations.
The company said the twin launches are expected to accelerate its growth trajectory while reinforcing its focus on customer-centricity, operational efficiency and rapid expansion across emerging fashion hubs in India.
