The International Cricket Council (ICC) has selected Fancode Shop as its exclusive licencing and merchandising partner to create official fan gear for the men’s cricket world cup in India in 2023.
Official in-venue shops run by Fancode Shop will cover the host venues and be supplied with a variety of products featuring all 10 competing teams.
Casual T-shirts for men and women, polos, shorts, joggers, sweatshirts, vests, caps, and accessories like backpacks and sling bags are all included in the fan wear.
Additionally, Fancode will also create an exclusive digital store to cater to fans from across the country.
Commenting on the partnership, Anurag Dahiya, chief commercial officer at ICC in a statement said, “We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Fancode and giving cricket fans in India access to our best range of merchandise yet.”
Prasana Krishnan, co-founder at Fancode added, “India is home to the largest base of cricket fans, and we want to offer world-class sports merchandise that reflects their pride for the sport and the teams they support.”
Fancode Shop, which was established in 2020, has previously produced official sports fan gear and apparel for IPL Teams, the NBA, and football clubs including Manchester City FC, Liverpool FC, and FC Barcelona, among many others.
