Diesel has recently expanded inaugurating new permanent stores in two prestigious global locations – Miami, Florida, and the Greek island of Mykonos. These cutting-edge stores showcase Diesel’s latest interior design concept, providing a unique and captivating shopping experience for its discerning clientele.
Located in the vibrant Design District, the Miami store spans around 180 square metres, spread across two levels. This prime location serves as the home to Diesel’s newly revitalised brand identity, a project curated by the Creative Director, Glenn Martens.
The store boasts a striking appearance, defined by a red steel and glass exterior adorned with the label’s rectangular red and white logo. Stepping inside, you’re greeted with a captivating loft-style ambiance, reminiscent of post-industrial aesthetics.
The stores have concrete floors, high ceilings, and walls adorned with raw riveted metal panels, alternating between naked steel and red-painted surfaces, perfectly complement the sculptural spiral staircase located at the rear of the store. The furniture follows a minimalist approach, featuring chic red leather sofas and sleek chrome fixtures, harmoniously blending with the overall contemporary design.
Diesel’s new Mykonos store has a captivating white façade with blue and red accents, spanning 70 square meters near the vibrant harbor. Inside, visitors find white walls, glossy red flooring, and ripped-up advertising posters on riveted metal panels, echoing Martens’s Diesel show. The store showcases an exclusive capsule collection celebrating sunshine, featuring sun-treated faded jeans and laminated jersey tops for style-conscious shoppers.
