Joe Browns, the apparel and lifestyle retailer, has seen its online sales shoot up by 24 per cent in the two weeks to 25 December 2021.
The UK fashion retailer has attributed the good sales to ‘stand out’ fashion and homeware ranges.
Notably, Joe Browns’ womenswear sales rose year-over-year (Y-o-Y) by 22 per cent during the autumn/winter 2021 season. The menswear sales also saw a Y-o-Y increase of 28 per cent during the period.
The retailer’s overall sales across its homeware range also went up by 80 percent in the autumn/winter 2021 period (mid-August to mid-January 2022), which included Black Friday and Christmas.
Elaborating on the same, Simon Brown, Founder and CEO, Joe Browns, said “We’ve had a cracking Christmas and AW21 season and this has been delivered through a number of factors.”
Simon added “We’ve created stand-out confident product across home, menswear and womenswear and coupled that with a renewed focus on communicating our offer tailored to how customers want us to connect with them – be it on-line, through the catalogue, e-mails, social channels or through third-party retailers.”
Founded in 1998, Joe Browns started off as a mail-order retailer before moving to online. Its bricks-and-mortar store in Sheffield reported gross sales of over £3.3 million since it opened in late 2017.
