The outerwear manufacturer Canada Goose Holdings Inc has revealed that it is reinventing the fitting rooms of its selected stores, by adding frigid rooms to it, to offer a unique in-store experience to its customers.
The new fitting rooms will allow the shoppers to test the brand’s merchandise in temperatures which can go down to -25 degree Celsius. The brand launched a new store in Montreal and it is the fifth outlet that includes the specialised fitting room.
Notably, Canada Goose merchandise is renowned for providing one of the best winter wear ranges across the world. Dani Reiss, CEO, Canada Goose cited that “People often tell him trying on a Canada Goose jacket was the first time that they ever truly felt warm in cold climates, with our cold rooms, we are creating that moment even before they purchase.”
Furthermore, the company has named its new innovation, as Thermal Experience Simulator that can shuffle the temperature from zero degrees Fahrenheit to -25 degree Celsius.
The CEO further added that introducing an unmatched experience like this into the stores gives shoppers the chance to really test the product. It is a natural extension of what this brand has been built on: “an authentic product that works.”
At a time when most of the retailers are trying to find a way to attract more footfall at their stores, this move by Canada Goose can certainly boost the customer base of the brand.
