Italian luxury group Brunello Cucinelli has reported another strong performance, with double-digit revenue growth in the first half of 2025, fueled by investments in production capacity and boutique expansion.
Revenues for the six months to 30th June 2025, rose to US $ 745 million, up 10.2% compared to the same period in 2024. Operating profit (EBIT) increased 8.8% year-on-year to US $ 124 million, while net profit jumped 16% to US $ 84 million, representing 11.2% of revenues.
The company invested US $ 69 million during the first half of the year, completing a three-year plan to enhance artisanal “Made in Italy” production. The initiative included doubling its Solomeo factory, securing production capacity until around 2035.
Brunello Cucinelli’s retail footprint expanded to 130 boutiques worldwide, compared to 126 a year earlier, with key openings and relocations in London’s Sloane Street and Vienna. Employee headcount also rose to 3,283 from 3,021 in the first half of 2024.
Momentum continued into July and August, with the Fall-Winter 2025 collection generating a strong start in boutiques. Looking ahead, the company expects to close 2025 with revenue growth of around 10% and what it described as “healthy and balanced” profitability.
