Beyoncé and Adidas will no longer collaborate on Ivy Park, citing creative disagreements between the singer and the company as per reports.
The internationally acclaimed singer and performer is determined to rebuild her brand, create her own path, and retain creative autonomy, says the report.
Bey created Ivy Park with Topshop in 2016 and the collaboration ended in 2018, putting her as the sole owner. In 2016, she launched her clothing business with Adidas, extending Ivy Park’s products outside athletic wear to encompass shoes and apparel.
Beyoncé revealed Ivy Park’s upcoming collaboration with Adidas, Park Trail, at her private performance in Dubai in January. By the end of January, singer Ice Spice also issued several shots from her fashion venture with Ivy Park.
The collection boasts new performance apparel, like jackets, faux fur coats, tracksuits, and hoodies. In a press release, the new line was described as a “trail-blazing expression of performance wear inspired by the resilience of the outdoors, the spirit of the streets, and the possibilities of the future.”
