Menswear brand The Bear House is expanding its offline retail presence through a Shop-in-Shop (SIS) rollout across more than 15 stores operated by Shoppers Stop, as part of its broader omnichannel strategy.
The expansion will see the brand become available at select outlets in Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Jaipur, with the aim of improving accessibility across both established and emerging urban markets.
The Bear House offers a range of smart-casual menswear, including shirts, polos, T-shirts and everyday essentials. Its collections are positioned around comfort, functionality and contemporary design, drawing on global influences tailored for everyday wear.
The SIS format is expected to provide a curated in-store experience, enabling customers to engage with the brand’s products in a physical setting while maintaining consistency across locations. The initiative forms part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its offline retail footprint alongside its existing digital channels.
In a joint statement, co-founders Harsh Somaiya and Tanvi Shah said that the brand’s vision had been centred on creating thoughtfully designed menswear that balances comfort, quality and modern versatility for the evolving Indian consumer. They added that the expansion through Shoppers Stop marked a significant milestone in the company’s retail journey, bringing its brand experience closer to customers across multiple cities.
They further noted that the partnership would allow customers to engage directly with the brand’s craftsmanship and fabrics in-store, enabling better product interaction and fit assessment, while supporting the company’s objective of expanding its offline presence and making its smart-casual offerings more widely accessible.
The move aligns with The Bear House’s strategy to build a broader national retail presence, as demand for experiential shopping and omnichannel engagement continues to grow within India’s menswear segment.
