ASICS recently launched the innovative collection, comprising of the HyperGEL-SAI and HyperGEL-KAN editions of the HyperGEL series. Combining high performance with loud street-style, the HyperGEL series works upon the principles of high-performance GEL technology proprietary to ASICS.
The promise of balance of style and technology is given to the consumers via the HyperGEL series as the HyperGEL midsole effectively integrates gel and foam technology to provide 30 per cent more bounce than any other EVA. Its cushioning and rebound properties give the wearer a superior form restoration that ensures all-day comfort.
“ASICS is a global brand with a uniquely Japanese heritage—our business is a result of the ‘remix effect’ you get by bringing East and West together. In the spirit of the remix, ASICS HyperGEL series was designed as a bridge between sport and street cultures.” says series designer Takayuki Ueda. “HyperGEL-SAI and HyperGEL-KAN are ‘genre-less’, in that they’re adaptable and easily fit into either a sport or street setting.”
HyperGEL-SAI is a unique lace-up version of HyperGEL series, equipped with an iconic asymmetrical eyelet construction inspired by the ASICSTIGER GEL-MAI. The other addition, `HyperGEL-KAN’ is the middle-cut version of HyperGEL and utilizes an external heel counter to hold the foot for the provision of improved support.
Each of these shoes feature hexagonal heel patch that highlights a Japanese character ‘body’ on the right and ‘mind’ on the left foot, that together represent the fundamental brand philosophy of ASICS- ‘A Sound Mind in A Sound Body’.
The HyperGEL series is popular for providing versatility during rhythmic exercises like gym, running and effectively reduces impact and helps in preserving energy. This allows the consumer to experience improvement in comfort, endurance, and movement.
