
Abercrombie & Fitch Co., a global retailer of casual luxury apparel and accessories based in the US, has announced the financial results for the third quarter of fiscal 2017.
During the quarter under review, net sales for the reporting quarter reached US $ 859.1 million, up by 5 per cent up from last year.
In the US market, Abercrombie & Fitch’s net sales stood at US $ 554.7 million (up 4 per cent) while in the international market it was US $ 304.4 million (up 5 per cent) as compared to last year.
The fashion retailer’s operating income for the third quarter was US $ 22.7 million compared to US $ 19.6 million in the corresponding quarter of last year.
“Our all brands made clear progress in the third quarter. This has made possible to note another quarter of sequential comparable sales improvement,” said Fran Horowitz, Chief Executive Officer.
“Our focus would be on execution of the strategic plan in the fourth quarter as we expect it to be challenging,” he added.
