Aastha Spintex Limited, a Gujarat-based cotton yarn manufacturer, plans to expand into value-added fabric products as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence across the textile value chain.
The company said the expansion into value-added fabrics will leverage the same raw material base, manufacturing expertise and Gujarat’s established textile ecosystem to move closer to end customers while improving profitability and supporting long-term growth.
The announcement follows the company’s acquisition of Falcon Yarns Private Limited, which has more than doubled its annual spinning capacity.
Commenting on the expansion, Divyang Jashwant Patel, Managing Director, Aastha Spintex Limited, said, “At Aastha Spintex, every phase of growth has been guided by a long-term vision of building a stronger and more integrated textile business. As we continue to strengthen our manufacturing capabilities, we believe this is the right time to move further along the textile value chain.”
The acquisition of Falcon Yarns has increased the company’s annual spinning capacity from 7,700 MT to 17,457 MT, strengthening its manufacturing base.
Aastha Spintex has also secured orders worth approximately Rs 76.78 crore from various customers. According to a stock exchange filing, the order book, covering the period from July to October 2026, represents more than 21% of the company’s FY2024-25 revenue, reflecting strong demand for its products.
Founded in Gujarat, Aastha Spintex operates an integrated spinning facility in Halvad, manufacturing carded, combed and compact cotton yarn for customers in the weaving, knitting, hosiery and garment sectors across domestic and international markets.
