Founded in 1971 in Istanbul, Turkey, Malkan Machinery is used by the garment manufacturers, dry cleaners and laundries for the garment industry following the principles of high quality at compatible price. The company produces more than 200 product models in electronics, pneumatics and mechanics.
Malkan has recently introduced two very useful machines – one a spot removing apparatus and the other new BOS (shirt’s shoulder-arm joints’ full-seam) Pneumatic Ironing Press, highly useful for fusing and retouching of BOS seams giving the shirt’s shoulder and arm joints full-seam.
The new Ironing Table, model UP101TFULL, consists of a spot removing pistol which sprays steam and air to remove stains. The machine can be hydraulically adjusted. Other features include a chimney, a light working on 380 V, vacuum speed, automatic stainless steel steam boiler, plastic water reserve tank with 4 litre capacity, and a pneumatic blowing system vacuum motor.
The machine with special elliptical-shaped dimension stainless steel table and wheels uses low steam consumption of 10 kg/hr with vacuum power 0.55 KW. It also consists of an air blowing pedal and a vacuuming pedal.
The company has also introduced a new shirt’s shoulder-arm joints’ full-seam Pneumatic Ironing Press that consists of a microprocessor with a controlled vacuum and “bucks-shut mode” timers. The vacuum motor is present inside and hence there is no need for central vacuuming.
The machine provides top-ironing quality, perfect finish with production capacity of 80-90 pieces per hour. The machine uses 400 V electricity, with heater capacity of 3 KW and vacuum power of 0.55 KW.
The other features of this new ironing press includes pneumatic pressure adjustment, fixed vacuum at lower buck, sensitive heat adjustment with digital thermostat, and installation of a safety strap for the benefit of the operator.
